Examples of caricatures and feedback from previous customers
When someone orders an Engagement Cartoon I often suggest getting the background done as a sort of “collage”. With a few locations that are meaningful to the couple.
So here we have Powerscourt Waterfall & Edinburgh Castle. Also included are a reference to him being a baker and her a paramedic.

Cartoon on glossy photo paper 16x12 inches. The faces and outfits were drawn from photos the customer emailed to me. The rest of the cartoon was based on her suggestions eg tractor and Hollywood sign. Usually completed in 1 week .

Wedding cartoon on Glossy A3. The background is Ballintotis Church, Midleton, where they got married. The adding machine is a reference to him being an accountant. Shopping bags for her.

“So the guys are married a few months. Cormac he's a successful musician/DJ/producer (under DJ Kormac / Kormac's Big Band). Triona is a sales Director in the Conrad (who recently won a big award so any kinda cup would be good), loves wine. Would be deadly if you could put a gangsta gold chain on Triona with 'T' on it”
The background is the courtyard of Trinity College Dublin, with the chapel behind. I did the wedding date in a chalk effect on the cobblestones, in front of the couple.
Ordered for a couple who recently had twins and bought their first house. Both Liverpool fans.
“I would like to order an unframed glossy print for a 40th which can be signed on the night. We would like the following included if possible, a rugby ball in one hand and either a Leinster rugby jersey or Ireland rugby jersey as hes a huge fan. In the other hand a pint or can of coors light. As he enjoys his pints in The Spout Kilcullen it would be great if you could include this in the background. Also a signpost and on this have Kilrush, Kilcullen, Newbridge and Vegas ( reason for Vegas is he is going here for his 40th). Im not sure how but it would be great to include horse racing too as hes a huge fan, Liverpool fan and plays GAA with ST Laurences, Oldgrange. The message for print is " 40 is the new.......What was I saying again" Happy 40th Derek, love Dad, Sharon, Sandra & Michelle xx”

“I’ve attached a number of photographs for a couple’s caricature we’d like to order.
I was thinking of having a cow in the background and they’re both farmers and teachers, so maybe a sign next to the cow saying moo-inteoirí? And a signpost with Templetuohy and Killeagh. Their names are Philip and Aoife and the date of the wedding was 5/1/18. Also, would there be anywhere we could put in Cork and Tipperary colours? Templetuohy church in the background”

I am wondering if it is possible to include a sign post pointing to Mallow, Ballinascarthy, Myrtle Beach and Galway in it? (Significant places that they met and lived etc)

“Hi, I would like one of my brother & his fiancée for their engagement. He is Irish, she's English, they love cycling, they both love a drink!!!!!(Guinness for both preferably!!! I was thinking maybe irish/English rugby shirts, sitting on a tandem, a pint in each of their hands) I'd like Bryony’s engagement hand to have a ring on it.
